Frequently Asked Questions

FOOTBALL PRIORITY (+)

What sports have a ticket priority attached to season tickets?
Tigers Unlimited has ticket priority programs for football, men's basketball and baseball.

How does the ticket priority system work for football?
Jordan-Hare Stadium is divided into zones (Gray, Blue, Orange, Gold) that carry a ticket priority cost per seat in addition to the season ticket prices. The ticket priority then accumulates as priority points to qualify donors for postseason and away game tickets. Donors can enter the system as a Gray Zone member and upgrade during the seat selection period. Donors also have the ability to enter as a Scholarship Donor ($3000 per seat, includes season tickets).

 How are priority points calculated?
Priority points are based on ticket priority paid to each specific sport. $1 paid equals one point. So if a donor is a first-year Gray Zone member with two seats, that donor's priority points would equal 560 (280 x 2).

Does my season ticket cost count toward my priority points?
No, only the ticket priority paid each year.

Do my priority points from football carry over to basketball or baseball?
No, only ticket priority purchased for that sport will accumulate.

What are the zones in Jordan-Hare Stadium?
For the 2016 season, the zones are Gray ($280), Blue ($480), Orange ($720), Gold ($890) and Scholarship ($3000, includes season ticket). If eligible, you can join as a Young Alumni (more info).

If I want to join Tigers Unlimited for football, at which level can I join?
You may join as either a Gray Zone member ($280) or at the scholarship level. During the seat selection process, if Blue Zone seats remain, you may upgrade at that time and pay the additional ticket priority. If eligible, you may also join as a Young Alumni (more info).

Will I be able to upgrade seats at a later date if seats are available?
Seat upgrades take place during the 3D seat selection process beginning on April 1 of each year. Based on priority, donors are given a time to login to the system and see all available seats. If there are seats available in more preferable locations, they may upgrade at that time. Additional payments may apply if upgrades move a donor from one zone to another.

Why are Blue Zone seats listed as "sold out" during the renewal period?
Blue Zone seats are listed as sold out prior to the seat selection process in order to give current Gray Zone members the opportunity to upgrade seats to that level. If Blue Zone seats remain at the conclusion of the renewal and seat selection period, they'll be made available to the general public.

When will I be provided access to select my seats?
If donors have renewed their Tigers Unlimited ticket priority or joined by March 1 of a given year, they will have access to the seat selection process in priority order, which takes place in April. Any new members joining after March 1 will be allocated seats in the best available Gray Zone area.

Will a larger donation put me ahead of legacy seat buyers who do not match my donation?
No, as long as members continue to pay their ticket priority and purchase tickets each year they will retain their existing seats. However, if a member does not maintain annual giving for certain seats, those seats will become available for upgrades or Scholarship donors. However, a donation exceeding the minimum payment will increase your priority points, which results in an earlier timeslot in seat selection.

If tickets are still available at a later date, can I purchase additional season tickets without an additional donation?
Tigers Unlimited donors are given the opportunity to request additional season tickets, without the ticket priority attached, on the ticket application in May. Additional tickets are not guaranteed and will be allocated based on availability.

Are seats held each year and not made available during seat selection?
Yes, originally scholarship donor seats were allocated in the North, South and Nelson Club, however scholarship donors have exceeded the number of seats available in those sections and currently 2,300 are seated in the main stands. Tigers Unlimited is also experiencing growth in this program at the rate of ~200 new scholarship seats sold per year. Therefore for the 2016 season seats vacated in the Orange, Gold and some lower level Blue Zones are held to allow for this additional growth.

The additional revenue gained by those 2,300 main stand seats can fully fund 80 student-athletes at Auburn University.

Why are Orange and Gold Zone seats listed as "sold out"?
Orange and Gold zone seats are "sold out" to allow for growth in the Scholarship program. Currently, the number of Scholarship donors exceed the originally allotted seating placement (North, South and Nelson Club). Scholarship donors are given the "best available" seats when they join the program. Beginning in 2016, Scholarship donors were included in the seat selection process to assist in upgrades.

How do I get the best seats in the house?
Join the Scholarship program.

How is my time slot for seat selection determined?
Your total priority - total giving to the Tigers Unlimited football priority program (not including season ticket prices).

Will the future North End Zone renovations open up any new seating?
While the final design of the stadium has not been determined, Auburn Athletics is looking at potential new premium seating options in future renovations.
