Twenty-Six Student-Athletes Graduate in 2013 Fall Term

AUBURN, Ala. – A total of 26 Auburn student-athletes graduated as part of the Auburn University Fall 2013 graduating class earlier this month. The graduates represent 11 of Auburn’s sports programs, including seven from football, four from women’s volleyball, two from men’s golf, two from women’s basketball, two from equestrian, two from track and field, two from soccer and two from women’s swimming and diving. In addition, there was one each from baseball, men’s swimming and diving and women’s tennis.

The seven graduates from football include: Kenneth Carter (Greenville, Ala.), Chris Davis (Birmingham, Ala.), Dee Ford (Odenville, Ala.), Jake Lembke (New Lenox, Ill.), Jonathon Mincy (East Atlanta, Ga.), Cody Parkey (Jupiter, Fla.) and Jamar Travis (Brewton, Ala.).

The four volleyball graduates include: Katherine Cullwell (Dallas, Texas), Courtney McDonald (Palmetto, Fla.), Chloe Rowand (Spokane, Wash.) and Sarah Wroblicky (Irvine, Calif.).

Graduating from men’s golf were Dominic Bozzelli (Pittsford, N.Y.), Michael Hebert (Orlando, Fla.).

Courtney Strain (Woodland, Ala.) and Pascale West (LaGrange, Ga.) were the women’s basketball graduates, while Maddie Barnes (McDonough, Ga.) and Kim Spence (Lilburn, Ga.).

The two graduates from women’s track and field/cross country were Sally Kirklewski (Roswell, Ga.) and Danielle Hill (Dallas, Texas). From equestrian, Anna Beck (Birmingham, Ala.) and Grace Socha (Glenville, N.Y.) graduated.

The two women’s swimming and diving graduates were Katie Gardocki (Suffield, Conn.) and Sterling Wine (Orlando, Fla.).

The three remaining graduates include Derek Varnadore (Bishop, Ga.) from baseball, Brandon Siemasko (Indianapolis, Ind.) from men’s swimming and diving and Olivia Bennett (St. Augustine, Trinidad & Tobago) from women’s tennis.

There were five All-Americans among the graduates that earned a combined 10 All-America honors. The graduates also include an NCAA runner-up, two U.S. Olympic Trials qualifiers, an All-Academic Scholar and members of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

The 26 graduates collectively hail from nine states in addition to Trinidad & Tobago.
