Shanks Chasing History
Shanks heads into the weekend needing just three digs to become Auburn's all-time single-season leader. She currently sits at 403, two behind Gretchen Thompson's 405 which were accomplished in 1986. Thompson's total was done over 35 matches, while Shanks should accomplish the record in just 30.
She also has 443 kills and needs just three to crack the top 10 single season marks in school history.
Setting A New Standard
The Tigers' 13 victories so far this season are four more than Auburn had in all of 2005. The last time AU amassed 13 wins was 2000 when Auburn finished 13-16. The Tigers' five SEC victories are also the most since the 1999 squad won 11 conference matches.
