WELCOME TO THE CLUB: Senior Sarah Wroblicky became the 10th member of Auburn's "1,000-Dig Club" on Sunday, eclipsing the 1,000-dig mark with her fourth dig in the Tigers' win over Ole Miss. During the game, she also moved up the all-time charts at Auburn, passing Bailey Veit (1,001) for ninth and Jaunelle Hamilton (1,002) for eighth. "Wro" was the third Auburn player to hit 1,000 digs in the last four seasons, joining Liz Crouch (2010) and Sarah Bullock (2012) in that club.
CLOSING IN ON 1,000: Senior Katherine Culwell also is within striking distance of 1,000 career kills by the end of the season. With 884 kills heading into this week, she needs to average 8.9 kills per match the rest of the way. She would be the 15th player in Auburn history with 1,000 kills if she hits that milestone.
TIGERS ON TV: Auburn's next three home matches - Oct. 18 vs. LSU, Oct. 20 vs. Texas A&M and Nov. 3 vs. Mississippi State - will be televised regionally. The LSU and Texas A&M matches will be carried by SportSouth, and the Mississippi State match can be seen on CSS/CST. Auburn will look to reverse its recent trend of dropping televised matches as the last time Auburn won on TV was in 2010 when ESPNU televised a 3-0 home victory over Georgia at the Student Activities Center. Friday's match vs. LSU will be the first televised volleyball match at Auburn Arena.
