Auburn Volleyball At Alabama To Be Televised On CSS Sunday
Sept. 19, 2009
AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn volleyball team (9-3, 1-0 SEC) will compete in its first televised match against Alabama (3-8, 1-0 SEC) in Tuscaloosa on Sunday. The match will be aired on CSS, beginning at 1 p.m. The Tigers are coming off a 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-15) win over Mississippi State in Starkville, Miss., Friday night, while the Crimson Tide defeated Georgia, 3-0, (29-27, 25-14, 25-15) at home. Alabama holds a slim 21-19 series record over Auburn. The Crimson Tide defeated the Tigers in both meetings last season.
