Wake Forest showed its experience in the third game by jumping out to a 12-1 lead and defeating the Tigers 30-7. Fisher finished the match with 13 kills.
“Without a full lineup, we are making things happen,” said Auburn head coach Laura Farina. “I’m proud of the way our girls kept in the game.”
Auburn returns to action in the Deacon Invitational when they take on Virginia Tech on Saturday, August 31 at 11 a.m. (EST).
