SportSouth and CSS will combine to air three Auburn volleyball matches this year.
AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn volleyball will have three of its matches televised during the 2013 Southeastern Conference season, according to a release from the SEC on Wednesday.
All three televised matches will be home contests, and all three will originate from Auburn Arena.
"It's great to have three home matches on TV, especially with us moving to a new facility," head coach Rick Nold said. "To be able to show that all over the country, I think that's really important for us - not only as a team, but also for recruiting. We're really lucky that our conference gets a lot of great exposure on TV, but when you're on TV at home, that's an added advantage."
Two matches will air on SportSouth. On Friday, Oct. 18, the Tigers will host LSU with first serve now set for 7:30 p.m. CT. The following Sunday, Oct. 20, Auburn will welcome Texas A&M to Auburn Arena with that match set for a 2 p.m. start.
Two weeks later, the next home match against Mississippi State on Sunday, Nov. 3, will be broadcast by Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS). The start time for that contest will be moved to 3 p.m. CT.
A total of 18 SEC matches will be televised by ESPNU, Fox Sports and CSS. All matches on ESPNU will also be available via the WatchESPN platform, and matches televised by FSN and CSS will be available online via ESPN3.
