Women's Tennis Closes Fall at Houston

TOURNAMENT DRAW

HOUSTON - Auburn women's tennis will play in its final tournament of 2011 when it begins play in the Persona Legal Resources Cougar Fall Draw hosted by the University of Houston.

Play begins on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the John E. Hoff Courts.

The 12-team tournament consists of Oregon, Auburn, Rice, Texas, Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana, Arkansas Little Rock, Arkansas State, Texas-Pan American, Texas State and Prairie View A&M.

The tournament begins on Friday with two rounds of singles, while two rounds of doubles and one round of singles will follow on Saturday and Sunday.

Taylor Cohen, Emily Flickinger, Jacqueline Kasler, Plamena Kurteva, Lauren Levant and Jen Pfeifler will each compete in singles completion. On the doubles side, Auburn is entering four teams - including the first action of the season for senior Taylor Schreimann.
