AUBURN, Ala. - The No. 43 Auburn women’s tennis team takes on No. 19 Pepperdine Friday at 1 p.m. CT at Stanford’s Taube Family Tennis Stadium in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Tigers (16-13) are making their third consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament and ninth appearance all-time. Auburn will be joined at the Stanford Regional by the host and No. 14 seed Cardinal along with Stony Brook.

The nation’s eighth-ranked doubles tandem of Pleun Burgmans and Emily Flickinger lead the Tigers into the opening round of play with a 23-10 overall record. Flickinger is Auburn’s all-time leader in doubles wins with 93 career victories, while Burgmans recently earned All-SEC Second Team honors.

In singles, freshman Andie Dikosavljevic leads the Tigers with a 14-11 record in dual matches. Burgmans, Paula de Man and Flickinger all have 11 dual match wins in singles this season.

The winner of the Auburn-Pepperdine match will take on the winner of Stanford-Stony Brook on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT.
