AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn women's tennis team steps out of conference play to host Alabama A&M on Tuesday at the Yarbrough Tennis Center for a midweek doubleheader at 2 p.m.
The No. 42 Tigers (12-11) swept Alabama A&M (1-19) at home on January 17 to open the dual-match season. Auburn got singles wins from Andie Dikosavljevic, Paula de Man and Jen Pfeifler and the Tigers took the doubles point against the Lady Bulldogs to earn a 4-0 victory.
Auburn is a perfect 7-0 all-time against Alabama A&M.
This week's four matches will mark the final home matches for Auburn seniors Emily Flickinger and Jen Pfeifler. Flickinger, a first-team All-American in 2014, holds the Auburn record for career doubles wins with 92 and is fourth all-time with 156 combined victories. Pfeifler is tied for third in school history with 79 doubles victories and the Gulf Breeze, Fla., native also ranks sixth overall with 136 combined wins.
The Tigers close out their regular season slate this weekend by taking on Missouri Friday 2 p.m. and Arkansas on Sunday at 1 p.m. Auburn will also honor its seniors for Senior Day prior to Friday's match against Missouri.
