AUBURN, Ala. --
No. 14 Auburn women’s tennis (18-4, 6-2 SEC) will look to continue it’s strong start to SEC play when the Tigers host No. 51 Alabama (4-12, 0-8 SEC) on Friday.

After three wins this past weekend against No. 28 Mississippi State and No. 36 Ole Miss, senior Pleun Burgmans now has 184 combined victories in singles and doubles, putting her two wins away from becoming the all-time leader in program history.

Alizee Michaud continued her strong start to her career at Auburn against No. 28 Mississippi State when she defeated No. 13 Jasmine Lee 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. Michaud now stands at 17-3 (5-2 SEC) on the season.

Auburn women’s tennis will look to get it’s first win against Alabama since 2008 this Friday at the Yarbrough Tennis Center. The match starts at 5 p.m. and admission is free.
