The No. 40 women's tennis team (11-3, 3-1 SEC) looks to extend their two-match win-streak when they host No. 22 Texas Christian University (7-3), Tuesday at 2 p.m., in the Yarbrough Tennis Center.
The Tigers meet with the Horned Frogs for the second time in the two programs' history. TCU has the edge on Auburn, winning the first contest. The Frogs meet with the Tigers on a two-match win-streak. TCU claimed victories on the road at Wake Forest and VCU.
The Tigers will look to No. 24 singles player Fani Chifchieva to extend her 13-match win streak. Chifchieva has not dropped a match since Auburn's first match of the season with Georgia Tech on Jan. 22. In that time, Chifchieva has given up only one set to her opponents.
Auburn will also look to No. 47 doubles duo Alex Haney and Melissa Koning to extend their four-match win streak. Haney and Koning captured a key win over No. 45 Martina Banikov and Elna de Villiers of Mississippi State on Sunday.
