Auburn, Ala. - The No. 30 Auburn women's tennis team (5-1, 0-0 SEC) will travel to Tallahassee, Fla., to take on No. 22 Florida State (6-0, 0-0 ACC) on Friday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m. CT.
Both the Tigers and Seminoles have a shut-out streak going - Auburn with five in a row and Florida State with six. The Seminoles also have a streak of 50 consecutive singles and doubles victories to Auburn's 45. Auburn looks to break FSU's streak and extend their own.
Friday will mark the two programs' 14th meeting. Florida State leads the series 11-2. The last time the two teams met was in 2006, when the Seminoles edged the Tigers 4-3.
Following their match with FSU, the Tigers will return to their home state on Feb. 16, to take on the Troy University Trojans in Troy at 1 p.m., CT.
The Tigers return to the Yarbrough Tennis Center on Feb. 23, for a double header with Jacksonville State and Southern Miss. The Tigers will face the Gamecocks at 10 a.m., followed by the Eagles at 6 p.m. Admission to all home matches is free. Live stats are available at www.auburntigers.com.
