AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn women’s tennis will travel to Champaign, Ill. on Friday to face off against the University of Illinois at Atkins Tennis Center and then travel to Michigan State on Sunday for it’s final match before the Tigers head to New Haven, Conn. for the ITA National Team Indoor Championships.
The Tigers (5-0) won two matches against Fresno State and No. 18 USC in the ITA Kickoff last weekend. Junior Alizee Michaud led the way for Auburn with four total victories in singles and doubles, including two ranked wins. The Orlando native owns a team-best 15-3 singles record on the season.
Freshman Georgie Axon has gotten off to a hot start in the 2016-17 season. Axon ranks second on the team with 13 singles victories including three against ranked opponents.
