Dikosavljevic falls on the third day of the National Intercollegiate Indoor Championship

AUBURN, Ala. -

After pulling off a big win Saturday against No. 15 Taylor Davidson, Andie Dikosavljevic fell to SEC foe No. 72 Caroline Brinson of Georgia in the National Intercollegiate Indoor Championship.

Dikosavljevic, a sophomore from Sunshine Coast, Australia advanced to the prestigious tournament in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. by winning the USTA/ITA Regional Championship. During regionals, Dikosavljevic went to three sets in three of her six matches. She also earned wins over a pair of ranked opponents, defeating No. 83 Georgiana Patrasc from Mississippi State and Alabama's No. 21 Erin Routliffe en route to the title.
