Played in 19 of 21 doubles matches... Paired with Sarah Suitor to finish 3-7... Opened the season paired with Tori Almagno, finishing with a 2-2 mark... 2004 Fall (Junior):

Ended fall season with victory over Mississippi State's Renee Joseph, 6-2, 7-5, in SEC Fall Coaches Classic... Split time in doubles with three teammates... Went 4-0 with Petra Bercik, 1-0 with Tori Almagno and 0-2 with Nancy Peaden... Victory with Almagno came against Colorado's Veera Nurmi and Martina Sedivec, 8-4.
2004 Spring (Sophomore):
Voted as Auburn's Most Improved Player... Member of SEC All-Academic... Saw singles action in just 10 matches, but went 8-2 overall and 1-2 in Southeastern Conference... Played most of season at No. 6 slot... Defeated Jacksonville State's Whitney Collins, 6-0, 6-0, in sixth match of season... Victory sent Cowart to 5-1 on the season... Lone SEC victory came against Arkansas' Christian Kincannon, 6-0, 6-0... Ended season with 6-1, 6-0, victory over Tennessee-Chattanooga's Kristie Wilson... Teamed with Isabel Rosenbrock for 8-8 doubles record and 3-7 mark in SEC... Team won three of its final four matches... Duo played at No. 2 and No. 3 slots... Went 3-3 at No. 3 and 6-4 at No. 3... Also teamed with Nancy Peaden for four non-conference matches, going 1-3.
2003 Fall (Sophomore):
Went 5-6 in singles... Had a 5-3 record with partner Nancy Peaden in doubles... Defeated Tennessee's Erin Cohn 6-3, 6-1, in the SEC Coaches Classic... Defeated Alabama's Melissa Minor by a final count of 6-1, 6-4, in the Roberta Alison Classic.
2003 Spring (Freshman):
Had a 6-6 record in singles... Defeated Alabama's Nathalie Koppelle 6-4, 2-6, 7-6... Went 3-1 in doubles with Isabel Rosenbrock, including a 9-8 win over Arkansas' duo of Melissa Cornett and Whitney Morton to clinch the doubles point for the Tigers... Compiled a 5-1 record with partner Sarah Suitor.

Attended Jenkins High School... Was named to the All-City Tennis Team all four years in high school... Was also All-City in cross country her first two years in high school... Ranked in the top 10 in the nation in doubles as a junior player.
