Auburn, Ala. - The Auburn softball team continues its fall season with a pair of games Thursday at Jane B. Moore Field. The Tigers take on Jefferson State at 3 p.m. and Central Alabama at 7 p.m.
Last week, Auburn defeated Shelton State and Georgia Perimeter in its first games of the fall exhibition season.
"We are looking forward to tomorrow's games," Auburn head coach Tina Deese said. "I thought our pitchers came out last week and did what they were supposed to do. Offensively, we did a good job of going the other way but that's still something we are continuing to work on. Overall, I was pleased with what I saw."
Fourteen position players and four pitchers all got work in two games last week, with the pitching staff allowing just one earned run in 14.0 innings of work.
The Tigers play each Thursday during the month of October, with all games at Jane B. Moore Field. Auburn closes out fall practice Oct. 30. All games are open to the public.
