AUBURN--The Auburn softball team will open up its 2007 fall schedule with two games schedule for Sept. 21 at Jane B. Moore Field.

Auburn will play Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College at 5 p.m. CT and Bevill State at 7 p.m. Abraham Baldwin and Bevill State will play at 3 p.m.

"We've got such a young team, that this fall will be a good chance for our squad to gain experience heading into the 2008 season, "said Auburn head coach Tina Deese. "We have nine freshmen that we hope get a lot of games under their belt. The fall will also allow our squad an opportunity to jell and see what we can do on the field."

The Tigers are schedule to play two fall games each Friday for the next two weeks, followed by a pair of games on Wednesday, Oct. 3 before concluding their fall schedule on Friday, Oct. 12.

All games are at Jane B. Moore Field and are free to the public.

The Tigers finished 26-30 in 2007 under Deese, who enters her 12th season on the Plains.

Sept. 21
5 p.m.: Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College
7 p.m.: Bevill State

Sept. 28
5 p.m.: Pensacola Junior College
7 p.m.: Columbus State

Oct. 3
5 p.m.: Wallace State-Hanceville
7 p.m.: Central Alabama Community College

Oct. 12
5 p.m.: Chipola Junior College
7 p.m.: Jefferson State
