Q: How did you know softball was the right sport for you?

Elizabeth Eisterhold: When I was younger I did softball, basketball and gymnastics and there came a point where I had to choose one, and I just couldn't picture myself not playing softball.

Q: What are you most excited about starting your senior season?

EE: I am excited because we have a really good team this year, we have a lot of depth, and I'm excited to see what will come of it. We have the potential to be really good, we just have to put it together as a team.

Q: Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

EE: My family. They push me to be grounded, and a couple friends on the team keep me going in the right direction.

Q: What would you consider your greatest achievement in your career at Auburn?

EE: Being able to compete at this level and being able to balance my academics and sports at the same time.

    Q: What is your motto?

    EE: Just go with it.

Q: What do you want to do after college?

EE: I am a marketing major, but I don't really know what I want to do with it yet.

Q: If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

EE: That I was fast. I am one of the slowest girls on the team.

Q: What is your favorite memory from your time at Auburn?

EE: When the team went to regionals last year and we went to the Space Needle in Seattle. We had such a fun time.

Q: How do you balance being a student-athlete?

EE: Compartmentalize my life. Whenever I need to study I go at it, whenever I need to go on the field I leave everything out of it.

Q: What do you most value in a friend?

EE: Understanding, good listener and trustworthy, almost like a dog.
