AUBURN, Ala. - Auburn's softball team will take the field for the first time under new coach Clint Myers with an eight-game slate in October.
"We are looking forward to getting on the field and having the opportunity for our fans to come see the 2014 Tigers," Auburn head coach Clint Myers said.
The Tigers begin fall ball with a doubleheader Thursday, Oct. 10, against Wallace State. The first game is set for a 4 p.m. CT start.
Auburn will then play four games in a three-day span, hosting Southern Union on Thursday, Oct. 17, in a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. CT. The Tigers will take on Northwest Florida State College in a doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 19, beginning at 2 p.m. CT.
The Tigers will close out fall ball with a doubleheader against Gulf Coast State College beginning at 3 p.m. CT on Thursday, Oct. 24.
All games will be played at Jane B. Moore Field. Admission is free.
Thursday, Oct. 10 - vs. Wallace State - 4 p.m./6 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 17 - vs. Southern Union - 4 p.m./6 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 19 - vs. Northwest Florida State College - 2 p.m./4 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 24 - vs. Gulf Coast State College - 3 p.m./5 p.m.
