AUBURN - The Auburn softball team will play its final mid-week games on its 2007 season schedule when the Tigers host Alabama A&M for a doubleheader Wednesday at Jane B. Moore Field. The first game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. CT.

The clubs have not met since the 2001 season when Auburn won, 18-2. The Tigers have outscored the Bulldogs, 94-4, in their five meetings, including a 26-0 decision in 1999, a game that still stands as an Auburn record for the most runs scored in a single game.

The Tigers take a 20-27 record into Wednesday's games, while Alabama A&M is 11-27 overall. The Bulldogs most recently were swept by Mississippi Valley State in a three-game series over the weekend in Itta Bena, Miss.

After Alabama A&M, the Tigers travel to Tennessee for their final road trip of the season. The three-game series begins with a doubleheader Saturday before a single game Sunday that will be shown live regionally on Fox Sports Net.

Catch Wednesday's games live on WZMG-AM (910) or by visiting www.auburntigers.com. Nathan Ealy and Ben Taylor will call all the action.
