Auburn, Ala. - The Auburn softball team will take on second-ranked Alabama in a three game series beginning Saturday at 1 p.m. at Jane B. Moore Field. Saturday's double-header will be Military and Public Service Appreciation Day, with the first 200 men/women in service receiving free hot dogs.

The Tigers are 33-11 overall this season and 9-7 in the Southeastern Conference. Alabama is 35-3 overall and 15-2 in the SEC and is ranked second in the nation. Auburn is 4-2 against top 25 teams at Jane B. Moore Field this season.
Auburn won two of three games from then 15th-ranked Mississippi State on March 11-12 and followed that by winning two of three from then ninth-ranked Tennessee on March 29-30. The Tigers are 16-2 overall at Jane B. Moore Field this season.
Sunday's single game is slated for a 1 p.m. start.
