AUBURN - The Auburn softball team dropped to No. 25 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll this week, it was announced Tuesday.

The Tigers fell three positions from the No. 22 spot, which was the highest in school history. By remaining in the poll, Auburn is ranked in back-to-back weeks for the first time ever.

It was on March 16 that the Tigers received their first ranking in school history, coming ninth in the poll.

Auburn travels to Troy State on Wednesday for a 6 p.m. match up with the Trojans. Following that, the Tigers will meet No. 12 Tennessee in a three-game series in Knoxville, Tenn., this weekend.
