Auburn softball's game against Troy scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed and will be played Wednesday, April 10, at 6 p.m. The schedule change was due to temperatures forecast below freezing, dipping to 31 degrees and a feels like temperature of 25 degrees.
Auburn, 21-13 overall and 2-7 in the Southeastern Conference, will now turn its attention to a weekend series at Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are 20-9 overall and 1-5 in the SEC. The series opens in Starkville on Friday at 6 p.m. The Tigers and Bulldogs will then play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m. The teams will play twice Saturday in observance of Easter Sunday on April 31.
