AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn softball program will host two camps in the month of June, head coach Clint Myers announced today. All camps will take place at Jane B. Moore Field and full details are available at http://collegesoftballcamps.com/ausoftball. One camp is geared toward kids ages 8-12, while the other will be for primarily high school players. Players at all camps will receive instruction and go through drills with the Auburn coaching staff.
June 9-12: Auburn Softball Summer All Skills Camp (Ages 13-18) (11:30 a.m.-4 p.m.) ($360)
This camp will feature drills and instructions on all facets of the game from the Auburn coaching staff over four consecutive days. Campers are asked to bring their own equipment as needed such as: tennis shoes or turf shoes, cleats, glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet and water bottle. The cost of this camp is $360 and will start each day at 11:30 a.m. and run through 4 p.m. All campers will receive a t-shirt for participating.
June 17-19: Auburn Softball All Skills Camp II (Ages 8-12) (12 p.m.-3:30 p.m.) ($210)
This camp will be much like the first All Skills Camp and will feature some of the same drills and instructions on all facets of the game from the Auburn coaching staff, but over three consecutive days. Campers are asked to bring their own equipment as needed such as: tennis shoes or turf shoes, cleats, glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet and water bottle. The cost of this camp is $210 and will start each day at 12 a.m. and run through 3:30 p.m. All campers will receive a t-shirt for participating.
Both amps check-in takes place 30 minutes prior to the start of first session and 20 minutes prior to the following sessions. Campers will receive a T-shirt as part of the camp fee. The focus of CM3 Elite Diamond Camps is teaching and instruction, so enrollment will be limited. Once the maximum number of campers has been reached, no more registrations will be accepted.
Please note, ALL campers planning to attend ANY camp are required to provide the appropriate paperwork in advance or at check-in the day of camp. These forms include signed parental waivers, medical release containing a doctor's signature, and a copy of your insurance card. Links to the appropriate forms can be found at the top of this page or online at AuburnTigers.com.
The camps are open on a first-come, first-serve basis to any individual who satisfies the age, grade level and/or gender requirements set forth in the registration materials.
Online registration and further details about all camps are available at http://collegesoftballcamps.com/ausoftball. Campers or parents with further questions should contact by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 334-844-9515.
