COLUMBUS, Ga. - The 17th-ranked Auburn softball team has had its final games at the NFCA Leadoff Classic cancelled Sunday due to unplayable conditions at the South Commons Complex.

The fields at the complex were deluged with almost 24 straight hours of rain Saturday, forcing the tournament to wipe out its slate of games. Auburn was scheduled to play North Carolina at 10 a.m. and Georgia Tech at 2 p.m. EST., under option one, and North Carolina at 1 p.m. under option two.

The Tigers now play defending champion and currently fifth-ranked Michigan on Tuesday at Jane B. Moore Field. First pitch is slated for 7 p.m. CST. The game will carried live on the Internet at www.auburntigers.com and WZMG-AM (910). Admission to the game is free.
