Game Time Changes For Tiger Invitational

AUBURN, Ala. – With the winter weather along the east coast this week, the schedule for this weekend’s Tiger Invitational softball tournament has been adjusted so participating teams will be able to travel to the Auburn area safely.

The first game for Friday, February 14 will feature Marshall and Western Illinois with first pitch slated for 10 a.m. Loyola and Western Illinois will then face-off at 12:30 p.m. Auburn will play its first game of the weekend against Marshall on Friday now starting at 3 p.m. and then will follow that performance with its second game of the day against Loyola starting at 5:30 p.m. at Jane B. Moore Field.

Game times for Saturday have also been changed as Auburn and Nebraska-Omaha will play at 3:30 p.m. The Tigers will then face Western Illinois at 5:30 p.m. following its game with UNO. The first game on Saturday will be between Loyola and Marshall at 9 a.m. at Jane B. Moore Field.

On the final day of the Tiger Invitational, Auburn will still play Winthrop with a pushed back first pitch time of 3 p.m. Loyola and Nebraska-Omaha will start the day at 9 a.m., followed by Western Illinois and Nebraska-Omaha at 11 a.m. Winthrop and Marshall will play at 1 p.m., and then the Tigers and Eagles will conclude the weekend at 3 p.m.

The Auburn games can be heard locally on WEGL 91.1 or online at Live video and live stats will also be available on throughout the weekend for all games.
