Auburn softball will make a total of seven appearances on television in 2010, including four games televised at Jane B. Moore Field.
The games are part of an agreement between the Southeastern Conference, the ESPN family of networks and regional partners FOX Sports Net and CSS to air 30 league softball games in 2010.
Auburn will make its first appearance on the tube when it hosts Alabama on April 3 in a double-header beginning at 1 p.m. CT. The double-header will air on CSS, with the first game airing live and the second game tape delayed. The second game will air April 4, at 3 p.m. CT.
The Tigers will then play on Fox Sports Net when it hosts the Tennessee Lady Vols on April 11, at 1 p.m. CT. Auburn will have its three-game series against Ole Miss aired by ESPNU and Fox Sports. The April 24 double-header will be carried live by ESPNU beginning at 4 p.m. CT. The April 25 finale will air on Fox Sports Net at 1 p.m. CT.
Auburn's final regular season game against Arkansas on May 9 will be carried live by Fox Sports Net, with first pitch slated for 1 p.m. CT.
As part of the television deal and for the first time in league history, all games of the SEC Softball Tournament will be televised live on ESPNU. The championship game will be live on ESPN primetime, 7:30 PM ET on Saturday, May 15. The SEC Tournament is May 13-15, hosted by the University of Arkansas at Bogle Park in Fayetteville, Ark.
