FRESHMAN SEASON (2015):
Made 26 starts for the Tigers, 25 as a catcher and one as designated player…She appeared in 12 other games as a pinch hitter … Hit .297 with one home run and was walked 12 times … Tallied 13 RBI and 19 hits throughout the year … Went 2-for-2 with a run scored at home against Eastern Illinois (2/14) … Her first collegiate home run came at home where she was 2-for-2 with five RBI against Georgia State (2/12) … Posted a 4 game hitting streak from (2/14 – 2/18)...First collegiate hit came against UAB (2/6) in the second game of the year, part of a 1-for-2 day with one RBI and one run scored...Named to SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll and Top Tiger list.

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to the Tigers from Mountain Brook High School playing catcher and first base while also playing for the Birmingham Thunderbolts traveling team. In her junior season at Mountain Brook, Shea was part of a 25-12 team under first-year head coach Erin Wright and batted .554 with 27 RBI, nine home runs and 16 runs scored...Shea was named to the Alabama Class 6A All-State team as a catcher in the spring of 2014 joining now Auburn junior Kasey Cooper, who was the Player of the Year in that high school class...Over her last three seasons, Shea has batted .630 with 75 hits in 119 at-bats and 54 RBI and helped her team reach the Alabama 6A High School North Central Regional Quarterfinals during her second year.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Richard and Beth Shea...Her father played football for Auburn in 1988-'91 seasons...Has a younger sister, Caroline and is majoring in visual journalism.
