SOPHOMORE SEASON (2016):
Finished the season with a .225 batting average over 111 at-bats… collected 29 RBI over the course of the season… homered eight times, including three times in back-to-back games… reliable defensive catcher who racked up 98 putouts in 52 games played… capped the season with a .312 on-base percentage and a .495 slugging clip… had 11 games with four or more put outs on the season… named Academic All-SEC. Game Highlights: Went 1-for-1 against Appalachian State (2/14) collecting three RBI on one swing with a 3-run home run… launched a homer in back-to-back games on the same day versus James Madison (2/20) and DePaul (2/20)… picked up two hits and one RBI against Boston College (2/25-2/26)… had two home runs, four RBI and four runs in starts behind the plate in contests with St. John’s (2/27) and Indiana State (2/28)… drilled an RBI double versus Indiana (3/4)… went 1-for-1 with a double, RBI and a run scored at Samford (3/16)… smacked a home run and had two RBI at Kentucky (4/2)… plated two in a pinch-hit role against Longwood (4/10)… totaled five RBI, three runs and two homers at Arkansas (4/15-4/17)… reached base twice by way of a single and an RBI versus Florida State (4/20)… laced a single and had two RBI in the series opener against Texas A&M (5/6)… picked up two hits and scored twice in the NCAA Regional contests with USC Upstate (5/21) and Jacksonville State (5/22)… drew three pinch-hit opportunities in the Women’s College World Series Championship Series against Oklahoma (6/6-6/8).

FRESHMAN SEASON (2015): Made 26 starts for the Tigers, 25 as a catcher and one as designated player… she appeared in 12 other games as a pinch hitter… hit .297 with one home run and was walked 12 times… tallied 13 RBI and 19 hits throughout the year... posted a 4 game hitting streak from (2/14 – 2/18)...named to SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll and Top Tiger list. Game Highlights: Went 2-for-2 with a run scored at home against Eastern Illinois (2/14) … her first collegiate home run came at home where she was 2-for-2 with five RBI against Georgia State (2/12)... first collegiate hit came against UAB (2/6) in the second game of the year, part of a 1-for-2 day with one RBI and one run scored.

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to the Tigers from Mountain Brook High School playing catcher and first base while also playing for the Birmingham Thunderbolts traveling team... in her junior season at Mountain Brook, Shea was part of a 25-12 team under first-year head coach Erin Wright and batted .554 with 27 RBI, nine home runs and 16 runs scored...Shea was named to the Alabama Class 6A All-State team as a catcher in the spring of 2014 joining now Auburn junior Kasey Cooper, who was the Player of the Year in that high school class...over her last three seasons, Shea has batted .630 with 75 hits in 119 at-bats and 54 RBI and helped her team reach the Alabama 6A High School North Central Regional Quarterfinals during her second year.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Richard and Beth Shea...her father played football for Auburn in 1988-'91 seasons...has a younger sister, Caroline and is majoring in visual journalism.
