    For the seventh consecutive season the Auburn soccer team has been honored as a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award winner, it was announced this week. The team posted a 3.21 GPA for the 2009-10 academic year.

    The 2009-10 squad was led academically by Katy Frierson, Stephanie Fransoso and Heather Havron, who were each named to the Academic All-District Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Frierson was voted First Team while Fransoso and Havron were voted to the Third Team.
