    • Auburn is 11-6-2, 5-4-2 SEC after defeating Alabama, 2-1, in overtime to clinch the SEC Western Division Championship and the No. 5 seed in this week's SEC Tournament in Orange Beach

    • Auburn's SEC Western Division Championship is its seventh in school history, all of which have come under the direction of Head Coach Karen Hoppa ... Auburn has now won the SEC West in 2001, `02, `03, `04, `06, `08, and `10.

    • Auburn's seven SEC Western Division Championships are the most by any school in the West ... Three schools (Alabama, LSU & Ole Miss) have each won three while Arkansas and Mississippi State have each won the West once since the conference started division play in 1995 ... Twice the division title has been shared, with Auburn winning a share each time (2001 with Mississippi State and 2008 with LSU).

    • In the SEC West championship years of 2002, 2003 and 2010, Auburn was the preseason favorite to win the SEC West by the league coaches ... In the four other years Auburn has won the West, it was predicted to finish second.

    • Auburn has now advanced to 10 consective SEC Tournaments, the third-longest active streak in the conference behind Florida (16) and Tennessee (13) ... Ole Miss had advanced to 13 straight before missing this year's tournament.

    • Auburn is 7-13-2 all-time at the SEC Tournament, advancing to the championship match in 2001 and 2005 but never claiming the title ... Auburn has advanced into the second round six times (1994, 1995, 1996, 2001, 2005 and 2009).

    • Auburn is 1-1-0 all-time against Georgia at the SEC Tournament but the two have not faced off since the 2003 tournament ... Auburn defeated Georgia, 3-2, in the first round of the 2001 tournament in Baton Rouge, La., and lost to it, 2-1 in double overtime in the first round of the 2003 tournament in Orange Beach.

    • Auburn is 6-9-1 all-time against Georgia, including a 2-1 win in Athens on October 24, 2010 ... Auburn owns a three-match winning streak over Georgia.

    • Georgia Head Coach Steve Holeman was the first coach at Auburn, guiding the program to a 7-6-3, 0-2-0 SEC, mark in 1993 before leaving for divisional foe Ole Miss ... Auburn was 9-8-1 against Holeman while he was at Ole Miss and is 1-0-0 against him at Georgia.

    • Auburn assistant coach Amy Berbary was a four-year letterwinner at Georgia (1998-01) and finished her career third in UGA's all-time scoring list (26) and points (58), leading the team in scoring for three straight seasons.

    • Should Auburn advance to the second round of the SEC Tournament, it would set up a rematch with either top-seeded Florida or No. 8 seed Vanderbilt ... Auburn defeated Florida, 1-0, in Auburn and tied Vanderbilt, 1-1, in Nashville earlier this season.

    • Auburn was 17 seconds away from not only missing out on a SEC West Championship but also on the SEC Tournament ... Had Auburn lost to Alabama, it would have finished in a four-way tie for sixth place in the league and would have been the one elimated from the tournament due to tie-breaking procedures ... Had that happened, LSU would have been seeded fifth, Kentucky sixth, Vanderbilt seventh and Alabama eighth.

    • With the win over Alabama, Auburn Head Coach Karen Hoppa joined the list of Division I women's soccer coaches to reach 200 career wins ... In the history of Division I women's soccer, Hoppa became the 51st to reach 200 wins and only the 10th woman ... She was the 41st active coach to reach the milestone.

    • Auburn is fifth in the SEC in goals (32), second in assists (40), third in shots (322) and leads the league in corners (131) ... Defensively, Auburn is tied for fifth in goals allowed (22), is fifth in goals against average (1.11), 11th in saves (67) and ninth fouls (177).

    • Junior midfielder Katy Frierson has recorded a point in all 11 of Auburn's wins this season and has at least one point in each of Auburn's last 13 wins and 20 of Auburn's 21 wins dating to the start of her sophomore season in 2009 ... The lone Auburn win she didn't record a point in over the last two sesaons was a 2-0 win over Georgia on Oct. 29, 2009 when Rebecca Howell scored a pair of unassisted goals.

    • Auburn's win over Alabama gave the team a .500-or-better SEC record (5-4-2) for a fifth straight season ... The last time Auburn did not finish .500-or-better in league play was in 2005 when it was 5-6-0 (.455) ... Only three times in head coach Karen Hoppa's career at Auburn has the team been below .500 in SEC play, with the other two coming in her first two seasons on the Plains, 1999 and 2000.

    • Auburn has outscored its opponents 32-22 and has a seven-goal edge in the second half and overtime periods ... Auburn is 6-0-0 when leading at the half, 2-4-1 when trailing at the half and 3-2-1 when tied at the half.
