Tatiana Coleman was named to the All-SEC First Team and Kala Faulkner was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team as the conference office announced the end of season awards on Monday afternoon prior to the start of the SEC Soccer Tournament.

Coleman, a sophomore forward, leads Auburn and is fourth in the SEC with 24 total points and 1.26 points per game. Her eight assists also lead Auburn and are tied for second in the SEC. A SEC All-Freshman selection last year, she scored seven of her team-leading eight goals against league competition, tied for second in the league, and had five assists in league play, tied for third, to give her a league-best 19 points.

Faulkner has started all 20 games as an outside back and leads the team with 1,781 minutes played. With her in the lineup, Auburn posted five shutouts, including three in league play as Auburn advanced to the SEC Tournament for a 12th consecutive year. Having taking just 12 shots, she put half of them on frame and scored the game-winning goal in the 4-2 comeback win over South Carolina.

Auburn has had a First Team All-SEC selection in each of the last five years and has had a Freshman All-SEC selection in eight of the 10 years the conference has named an All-Freshman team.

Auburn opens up SEC Tournament play on Wednesday at 2:30pm against Tennessee. The sixth seed in the tournament, Auburn fell to Tennessee, 1-0, on Oct. 7.
