The first-place Auburn soccer team will look to increase its league-leading points and goals totals this weekend as it travels to Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Auburn will battle Ole Miss at 6pm CT on Friday in Oxford before heading to Starkville for a 1pm match with Mississippi State on Sunday.

"The Auburn-Ole Miss rivalry is a great game for us. I think each team makes the other better because it is always a competitive game and they are such a big rival for us. It is always a huge showdown," Auburn Head Coach Karen Hoppa said. "Mississippi State is tough at home. They have the home field advantage, play very tough defense and are always very well organized. They pull off upsets at home frequently so they will provide a big challenge for us on Sunday after a physical game on Friday."

Auburn leads the Ole Miss series, 8-5-1, and the two teams have combined to win the last eight SEC Western Division titles (Auburn has five, Ole Miss has three). AU also leads in its series with Mississippi State (8-3-1) and has won five straight over MSU, not allowing a goal in all five of those matches.
