7 - NCAA Tournament Appearances
Auburn has played in the NCAA Tournament seven times (2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008), with all seven appearances coming during Karen Hoppa's tenure as the Auburn head coach.
Auburn's first NCAA Tournament berth came in 2001 when the team was sent to Clemson, S.C., to face Florida State in the opening round. Auburn has advanced to the second round four times, the last coming last season when it played host to the NCAA First and Second Rounds for the second time in school history. Auburn's first hosting opportunity came in 2004 when the team went 15-4-2, 9-0-2 SEC.
Auburn's NCAA Tournament wins have come over Central Florida (2002), Oklahoma State (2003), Clemson (2004) and Belmont (2008), all four being shutouts.
