AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn soccer team will play five exhibition matches this spring as head coach Karen Hoppa released the Tigers’ spring schedule today. The first match is scheduled for February 15 against Jacksonville State at the Auburn Soccer Complex with first kick schedule for 4 p.m.
Of the five matches, four will be played at home starting with the Gamecocks from Jacksonville State. The Tigers will then have a two week break before playing home again to face Tennessee Tech at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 1.
The team will then have three weeks off before heading to Baton Rouge to take on LSU. The two teams will be playing for the first time since last November, when Auburn defeated LSU 1-0 in the first round of the SEC Tournament on an overtime penalty kick.
The Tigers will finish out the spring back on The Plains when they host West Florida at the Auburn soccer complex at 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 29. The final game will be against rival Georgia on Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m.
