In their fourth game of the spring, the Auburn soccer team just barely fell short to Florida State on Saturday afternoon. The goal came in the last 15 seconds of the game when Tiffany McCarty found the back of the net for the Seminoles to finalize the game at 1-0.

The ball was played over the Auburn defense and found McCarty at the top of the Tiger's box. As Auburn goalkeeper Amy Howard ran out of her box to challenge the ball, McCarty skillfully lobbed the ball over Howard and into the goal.

While Auburn did not get the win on Saturday, the Tigers displayed their best efforts of the spring thus far. Howard made a couple of key saves, while the Auburn defense had the Seminoles locked down for most of the game. Mary Coffed and Tatiana Coleman both created chances throughout the game, while Ana Cate also struck a free kick nicely that flew barely wide.

Auburn will host Clemson at the Auburn Soccer Complex on Sunday, April 15th at noon.
