Soccer Falls To Beat, Prepares For Final Two Spring Exhibitions

The Auburn soccer team will put the finishing touches on its spring exhibition season on Saturday, April 9, when it plays Columbus State and Kennesaw State in Kennesaw, Ga. Beginning at 12:30pm CT. The matches will be the final two in the spring, in which Auburn has defeated UAB and West Florida but has fallen to the Atlanta Beat of the WPS twice. The latest match against the Beat was held on Saturday, April 3, at Spain Park High School in Birmingham. Playing against the just-released 24 player roster of the Beat, Auburn fell, 4-0 as the Beat scored twice in each half. Amy Howard allowed three of the four goals while Chandler Hillen allowed the fourth. Former Auburn standout goalkeeper Allison Whitworth played the full 90 minutes for the Beat.
