    Director of Soccer Operations

    A three-year letter winner at East Carolina and a former team manager for the Auburn soccer team, Mary Puckett becomes the first Director of Soccer Operations for Karen Hoppa's program for the 2011 season.

    Puckett has been around the Auburn program since the 2007 season, beginning her tenure as a team manager in which she handled all of the video for the team and also helped in the maintenance and distribution of equipment.

    Puckett has also been very active in the Auburn youth soccer programs, working as both an assistant coach and trainer of the Auburn Thunder Soccer Club since June 2007. With the Thunder she has been responsible for training goalkeepers in the U-10 through U-13 age group, implementing practice plans and strategies. This past August she was named the head coach of the 94 Girls White team.

    Puckett graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Carolina in July 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in exercise and sport science. She then earned her Masters of Education in exercise science from Auburn in December 2009.
