After a defensive battle through the first half of play that saw no score and minimal shots, No. 18 Auburn pulled out a 2-0 victory over Milwaukee Sunday afternoon, getting the benefit of an own goal by the Panthers and then a put-away goal by freshman Ellie Leek in the waning minutes.

Late Penalty Kick Goal Gives Samford 2-1 Decision Over Auburn

A late penalty call in the box against No. 18 Auburn gave Samford an opportunity to take a penalty kick in the 78th minute of Friday night's match at the AU Soccer Complex. Taylor Borman hit the ride side netting to score the game-winner for the Bulldogs, a 2-1 victory.
