AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn gymnastics team is holding a Thanksgiving Intrasquad Friday to kick off a full weekend on the Plains. The event will be held in the McWhorter Center and action kicks off at 1:30 p.m. CT.
“This is the first time we’ve really opened up our Thanksgiving intrasquad to the public,” head coach Jeff Graba said. “However, this team is really doing a great job preparing for the upcoming season and I think they’re ready for this. They are exciting to watch and we’ll be making some final adjustments to routines as we continue to prepare. I think any fans that can swing by will really get glimpse of the potential of this year’s squad.”
Fans will be able to see full bar and beam routines, while each member competing on floor will do their dance in addition to at least one tumbling pass.
The annual Cyber Monday special will once again be available for fans, Nov. 27, and runs from 7 a.m. CT to 2 p.m. CT. Fans who purchase season tickets during the timeframe will receive a free gymnastics gift pack.
Reserved chair back premium seats for the 2018 season are available for $40 in sections 101-105 and 118. General admission seats are available in sections 106-117 for $20. Auburn faculty and staff tickets are $32 and are available in sections 101-105 and 118, while “Family Four Packs” are priced at $120 and are also available in sections 101-105 and 118.

The 2018 edition of Auburn gymnastics is a good mix of experience and youth, starting with its two seniors – Kennedy Finister and Cara Stricklin The junior class is composed of Telah Black, Samantha Cerio, Emma Engler, Taylor Krippner, Abby Milliet, and A’Miracal Phillips.
In addition to the squads four sophomores – Katie Becker, Gracie Day, Kendal Moss, Emma Slappey– the fans will get to see the team’s large group of freshmen in action. The newcomers are Sydney Bassett, Jada Glenn, Allie Riddle, Ashley Smith, Meredith Sylvia, and Drew Watson.
The Tigers have five meets in Auburn Arena this season with four against the SEC. That includes match-ups with Florida (Feb. 2) and Alabama (Feb. 23).
