Gymnastics Season Tickets Now on Sale

AUBURN, Ala. -Season tickets for Auburn gymnastics are now available through the Auburn Athletic Ticket Office. The Tigers will have five home meets during the 2010 season. "We have a great home schedule and have five fantastic home opponents," head gymnastics coach Jeff Thompson said. "I think our 2010 home schedule is the best we have ever had for Auburn fans with many of the top teams in the nation making the trip to The Plains. Every night will be exciting and every meet will come down to the wire." Adult season tickets are $25 and youth season passes are $10. Family packs of four passes are available for $60. Season tickets for Auburn faculty are $12. Auburn opens its home schedule by hosting in-state rival Alabama on Jan. 8. The Tigers will host Oklahoma on Jan. 15 which will be the team's annual "Flip for the Cure" meet. "We hope that our fans will come out for the first meet versus Alabama and return for every meet after that," Thompson said."Fans have a chance to see some very exciting competition with some of the best teams in the nation." Auburn will have a trio weekends at home in Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum during the month of January with Alabama, Oklahoma, and Georgia on Jan. 29.Beginning in February, the Tiger gymnasts will have a two-meet home stand with the first meet coming against Florida on Feb. 26 and Denver on March 5. For the fifth and final home meet, Auburn will host Denver at 7 p.m., which will also double as senior night for the duo of Krissy Voss and Carmen Nelms.
