AUBURN, Ala. - The Auburn gymnastics team took part in the Auburn College of Agriculture Challenge Course with the Tigers being challenged on both a high and low ropes course this past Sunday, Sept 19. The team participated in an assortment of team building and individual activities.

"We had some physical obstacles to overcome, as well as bugs and the girls getting dirty but other than that it was awesome," said Associate Head Coach Rachelle Thompson. "It was a great day and the team, as well as the coaches, enjoyed themselves."

Following the exercises, team members received letters from home as well as university administrators.

"As coaches, it was great to sit back and watch the dynamics of our team play out," said Thompson of the experience.

The team is currently training four days a week in the McWhorter Center after practice officially began on Sept. 13. The team will have the second of three scheduled intra-squad scrimmages on Oct. 30.
