Getting To Know Auburn Gymnast A.J. Mills A unique look at the 2009 Tiger gymnasts

AUBURN - As the Auburn gymnastics team opened practice Monday, we want to start the preseason out by introducing the gymnasts to Tiger fans. Every Monday throughout this upcoming year, we will uniquely get to know one of our gymnasts by asking them interesting questions about themselves.

By doing this, everyone can get to know them a little better-- not just as an athlete, but as a student, a family member and a friend. This week, the spotlight is on A.J. Mills from Floyds Knobs, Ind. Mills is currently a senior at Auburn majoring in marketing with a minor in communication.

4.What is your fondest childhood memory?
Going to Disneyland all the time when we used to live in California

5.What do you like to do in your spare time other than gymnastics?
Sleep

6.What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you (not related to gymnastics)?
I am a homebody, so my idea of a fun night is hanging out and playing Domino's at my house

7.What is one out of the gym talent that you have that few people know about?
I can play Jingle Bells with my nose as well as the saxophone and piano

8.What is your favorite room in your house/apartment and why?
The living/dining room area because I love the feng shui, and it is just relaxing to come back and chill on the couch

9.What is the best movie or DVD you have seen recently?
The Dark Knight

10.What is the one luxury item that you could not do without?
Coach purse

11.Who is your favorite athlete?
Tayshaun Prince (Detroit Pistons) and Cullen (Olympic swimmer)

Apples and peanut butter, grilled salmon

I would be like Hiro Nakamora and be able to freeze time
