AUBURN, Ala. - No. 13 Auburn gymnastics was drawn for the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional hosted by No. 3 LSU on April 5 in the Maravich Assembly Center. The meet will also feature No. 10 Stanford, No. 21 Arizona, Kent State and Iowa State.

"It was fun to watch the show when you don't know exactly where you are going," Auburn head coach Jeff Graba said. "It will be interesting. We get to go to LSU, which I'm excited about since we've already been there and had a good meet. LSU is really good. We saw that a couple of times this year."

Auburn will be seeking a berth into the NCAA Gymnastics Championships hosted by the BJCC in Birmingham. It can secure passage with a top-two finish in Baton Rouge.

Last season, Auburn posted the top regional score in program history, but came up just short with a 196.700.

The regional meet will be the second meet of 2014 for Auburn in Baton Rouge. In a dual meet on January 24, Auburn posted the top road score in program history with a 196.850.

"I think we have some confidence having been there before this year," Graba said. "With our team, we have to keep our numbers low and because we have already been there we are able to do that. The girls know the equipment, so that helps.

"We don't know a lot about Stanford and Arizona with them being on the west coast. Kent State went to nationals three or four years ago and Stanford gets there on a consistent basis. We've seen Arizona within the last couple of seasons. It will be a really tough meet."
