    AUBURN - The 2009 Southeastern Conference gymnastics awards were announced following the SEC Gymnastics Championship Saturday night, held at The Sommet Center in Nashville, Tenn. Auburn's Lindsey Puckett earned Second-Team All-SEC accolades with a tie for sixth-place in the all-around.

    Georgia's Courtney Kupets was named SEC Gymnast of the Year, Whitney Rose of Kentucky was named SEC Freshman of the Year, Georgia's Grace Taylor was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Georgia's Suzanne Yoculan was named SEC Coach of the Year for the sixth time in her career.

    All-SEC teams were based on finish at the SEC Championship. The individual event champions and the top-three place finishers in the all-around were named First-Team All-SEC, while the event runner-up and next three finishers in the all-around were named to the second team. The top-freshman finisher and top three in the all-around were named Freshman All-SEC.
