No. 12 Auburn gymnastics will compete in the 2014 SEC Gymnastics Championship on Saturday afternoon at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center arena.
Auburn is the fifth ranked program in the SEC and is the top seed in the afternoon session scheduled for 2 p.m. Joining the Tigers in the afternoon competition are No. 15 Arkansas, Kentucky and Missouri.
No. 1 Florida, No. 2 LSU, No. 4 Alabama and No. 6 Georgia will compete in the 6 p.m. session.
As the top seed in the afternoon session, Auburn will go through the standard rotation of vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise.
Last season at the SEC meet, Auburn scored 196.550 to set a program scoring record in the conference championship. The Tigers placed fifth overall for their best finish since 2010.
