The No. 11 Auburn gymnastics team (6-6, 0-6 SEC) travels to Norman, Okla., to take on the No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners (15-0, 3-0 Big 12) in Howard McCasland Field House on March 7, at 7 p.m.
The Tigers take on the Sooners for the fourth time in the two programs' history. Each squad has two wins in the series. Auburn head coach Jeff Thompson is 1-1 when facing Oklahoma.
The last time the two programs met was in 2005 when the Sooners edged the Tigers. Oklahoma is in the midst of a 15-meet win streak. The Sooners have won 28 of their last 29 meets dating back to the 2007 season.
Auburn is on a two-meet win streak. The Tigers defeated Illinois and Denver last week. Auburn is 6-0 when facing non-conference opponents. The Tigers are 5-3 on the road.
The Tigers will return to Auburn on March 14, to host Michigan State for "Senior Night." Auburn will honor its four seniors, Julie Dwyer, Kayla Gies, Aimee Goheen and Karmen Pinckney.
