AUBURN - The Auburn gymnastics team is ranked No. 16 for the second-consecutive week in the latest edition of the GymInfo Collegiate Gymnastics poll, the organization released Sunday.

Auburn (2-5, 2-4 SEC) is ranked No. 16 with a 195.310 Regional Qualifying Score (RQS). Additionally, Auburn is ranked fourth in the Central region rankings behind Alabama, LSU and Kentucky.

"A good home score will help us this week, but until we drop that poor road score at LSU, we'll remain in the 15-20 range," said head coach Jeff Thompson.

Sophomore Allyson Sandusky leads Auburn in two events, as she is the highest ranked Tiger at No. 20 with a 9.840 on bars. She is also tied for the team lead on beam where she is No. 37 with a 9.800 average. She shares the lead with sophomore Kylie Shields, who jumped 36 spots in the beam rankings from No. 73 to No. 37 after scoring a 9.8 in the event against Florida.

Senior Krissy Voss ranks 27th in the all-around competition with a 39.000 average, while five of Auburn's beam competitors are ranked in the top 100. Sandusky and Shields are followed closely by juniors Rachel Inniss (40th), Katie Hurley (82nd), and Voss (84th).

Auburn ranks 10th in the nation on beam (48.860), 18th on vault (48.970), 16th on bars (48.885) and 30th on floor (48.645) in event-by-event rankings.

Auburn has hosted four of the top five teams in the nation, as Alabama tops the poll (196.910). The Crimson Tide is followed by Oklahoma (196.730), UCLA, (196.550), Florida (196.550), and Georgia (196.490).

Two other opponents Auburn has faced this season are No. 8 Arkansas (196.165) and No. 10 LSU (195.945).

"We're focused on this week for our seniors. It's a big night for the team, and a big night for them. We're excited that when people look back 20 years at the last athletic contest in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum they'll see that it was a gymnastics meet."

Auburn returns to action Friday, March 5, as the Tigers welcome the No. 19 Denver Pioneers to Auburn for the first time ever in what is the final gymnastics event to be hosted in the storied history of Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. The meet, which will also honor Auburn seniors Carmen Nelms and Krissy Voss, is slated to begin at 7 p.m. Live stats and video will be available via, while live meet updates can be found by following AU_Gymnastics on Twitter.
