"We are all happy to be home in front of our own fans," Auburn head coach Jeff Graba said. "Being on the road for five out of the last seven weeks has been difficult, but I think the girls handled it well. Now we get to perform in front of our own crowd and I know the whole team is excited about that. In addition it will be give us a few weeks at home so we can rest and recover from a very tiring first half of the season."
The 14th-ranked Tigers have posted scores above 196 in four consecutive weeks for the first time since 2009. Auburn has never score higher than 196 in five straight meets, but will try to accomplish the feat on Friday.
"I think the momentum that we have generated with this string of quality meets recently can really help this team with its confidence moving into the final phases of the regular season," Graba said. "We have some tough matchups ahead of us and it'll be important to continue to perform at a high level. The main job right now is to continue to hit routines and to get as healthy as possible heading into March."
