The Auburn University gymnastics Pink Meet silent auction on Jan. 18 raised $1,380 for the Susan G. Komen For A Cure Foundation.
Among the items that were auctioned included memorabilia autographed by Auburn football head coach Tommy Tuberville, Auburn Heisman Trophy winner Bo Jackson and former Tiger baseball player and current Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson and a free week of Auburn Gymnastics camp.
Several local businesses contributed to the auction's success, including Alabama Outdoors, Behind the Glass, Camera Graphics, J & M Bookstore, Big Blue Bookstore, Ellie, Hibbett Sports, The Hotel at Auburn University, Indian Pines Golf Course, Loco's Deli, Niffers, O'Charley's, Longhorn Steakhouse, Stamp!, The Works Salon and Spa and Tiger Surprise.
Auburn will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 25, to face No. 1 Florida. Admission to the meet is $5 for adults and $2 for children. Tickets can be purchased in advance on www.auburntigers.com. Admission is free to Auburn students with a valid ID.
